Gail and Damon have a beautiful love story.
Gail is fighting her attraction to him and feel that letting him move in may be a huge mistake. But, she needs the help, financially. Admitting that she needs help is huge for her. She carries the weight of the world on her shoulders and dammit she is an independent woman who doesn't ask for help.
Enter our hottie Damon Johnson. He doesn't know if he wants to stay in California which is why he feels having a roommate is ideal and this way its easier for him to move. He is helping his brother and his cousin's husband build their business. He has ties to Colorado and his dream job is in all the way across the country. He needs to keep his options open, he is young, intelligent and free.
Eventually, the lines blurred and things get hot and heavy between the two. We get hot sex and an amazing relationship. But, when they don't share things that are happening in their personal lives then things get a bit difficult. They need to trust each other enough to share everything even if its the things that can break them apart.
The bonus in this book was the mention of autism. I am a sucker for books that mention real life struggles. This was an awesome read and I highly recommend it.
5 stars for this book and I can't wait for the next installment.
