I love that this story doesn't miss anything from where the second book left off.
Cody finally sticks up for what he loves and cherishes. But there will be a price to pay for it. His only regret is that Cassie will be alone when she needs him the most.
Cassie is lost feels scared and doesn't know how to go about living her life. To make matters worse there is some gossip in town about how she is to blame for what happened to her. She refuses to seek help and is barely functioning. Willa Mae keeps pushing her making sure that she doesn't give up and she fight for herself.
When she finally decides to get counseling she comes to realize the anger she feels for Cody because she feels he abandone her when she needed him.
When Cody comes home it becomes awkward they feel like strangers. When one of them finally tries to repair the damage.. everything begins to fall into place for them until they try to have sex.
Feeling lost they both decide to get help. With the couseling they are able to mend their relationship, move foward and grow strong.
Cassie and Cody's story is one of strength and trust which in return makes it beautiful to witness how they grow as a couple and as a family. Stong and Wilde is a beautiful story that shows us how with strength and trust anything can be overcome.
