Kelly Elloitt has done it again. She has given us a beautiful love story that we can get lost in.
Liza and Walker have been best friends their entire lives. They grew up around each other, their parents are best friends which is why they are so close. Eventually, it is time to head off to college. Walker and Liza have feelings for each other and they eventually tell each other how they feel, Walker asks Liza to wait for him. Sadly, distance can be an enemy.
The book starts off with both of them graduating college and they each are in their own committed relationship. Heck, Liza even has her boyfriend handing her a ring to wear while they are apart during the Summer. Sadly, the ring isn't what she wants and she has only fear and sadness when she has it. Walker has a clingy ass chick on him asking for a damn ring, umm.. hello if he hasn't given it to you don't ask for it. Ugh. She annoyed me.
Walker and Liza are back at the ranch their parents run and they have big decisions to make and its not helping that they are attracted to each other. They struggle with not breaking the promises they made to those they are in relationships with. But, when your first and one and only true love is at arms reach that can be a challenge.
What will happen with these two? Will they cheat? Will they walk away from what they feel? Will all their hopes and dreams become a reality?
I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! I couldn't put it down. The story telling was so good and the characters sucked me in. I am a sucker for a beautiful love story and that is exactly what I got.
