In A Father's Fight, Blake shows us the funny, loving, caring and protective side of him. I swear there a scenes in this book that had me cracking up. He is hilarious and honestly I got his point but man it was awesome. I fell harder for Blake. Our big fighter was struggling with an email he had received and he was on protective mode since getting the note. He wanted to know who was digging into his soon to be wife's past life. Layla was close to delivering their baby, Blake was so attentive toward his mouse. So damn attentive that preggie was having so me delish orgasms. I absolutely loved that he found her sexy and beautiful toward the end of the pregnancy. God, what a huge turn on.
I loved that this book opened with Layla and her past. Put us right in the story to see what our girl was feeling.
Layla, is ready to have hers and Blake's baby. She is one very horny female, but with a man like Blake who wouldn't be. She has been getting calls from an unknown number and has yet to tell Blake. She can't help but wonder who it is. Then one day she decides to answer and her world hit a small bump. She wants to know why this person from her past is calling her and more importantly, why did he say what he did on the phone. How dare he dig up something so difficult when she is living so happily.
In this book we get to see a side of Blake with his family that we didn't expect to see. I will admit that I loved to see how the story played out with his parents. It was tough for me but I absolutely loved it. Blake has turned out to be one amazing fighting boy that had me fall harder for him and just loving him.
The way this story line goes is beautiful, this book needed to be written. Loose ends are tied up and come on, who doesn't want answers.
JB, you did it again girl and I am always excited to see what you do next. Can't wait til the next book.
